On Wednesday 18th May 2022, the Year 2 children were learning about musical timbre with Mr Critchley. After spending this term analysing “Peter and the Wolf” and “Carnival of the Animals”, the children composed and performed their own fishy tune inspired by Piece #7 Aquarium. Next term, the children will learn how to compose a piece of music and conduct an ensemble playing their own animal pieces.
