On Thursday 16th June 2022, the Year 6 children consolidated their learning in the History lessons with a trip to Clitheroe Castle. The actors brought the history to life in the beautiful surroundings as the children learnt about the role of the blacksmith, the purpose of the keep, the games the children played, the food they prepared and witnessed a live cannon in action. the behaviour was exemplary too.
