We invite you to join us for Sparkle Day on Monday 4th July 2022
A little bit about us
The Sparkle Bean Trust is a new charity that aims to support primary schools with advice and grants following the sudden death of a pupil, so that school communities are supported.
The charity was born out of the experiences of Tarleton Community Primary School, in Lancashire, as they experienced the loss of a pupil in the Manchester Arena Attack and the subsequent trauma that engulfed them. Through the generosity of strangers and other schools, a fund was set up which aided their recovery with many schools holding ‘wear what you like days’ to raise money and show solidarity.
What is Sparkle Day?
Sparkle Day is a day to raise money for the charity and for teachers and children to focus on having fun and celebrating the innocence of childhood! Held on Monday 4th July, on what would have been Saffie’s 14th birthday – we hope it will be a fantastic way to come together to raise money for a good cause and remember a young life in a positive way.
We will take part by holding a ‘wear what you like day: bring £1’, ideally bringing something sparkly!
