Reception Class – Picture News Lesson

On Thursday 28th September 2023, the Reception children learnt all about the moon and how a space agency from India has sent a space shuttle near to it’s surface.  The children enjoyed three activities including role play, counting moon rocks and initial sounds. They looked at the India on the map and then talked about what they would take on a journey to the moon. They finished off with a lovely story called “The way back home” by Oliver Jeffers and a song all about the moon.
