Year 1 – Picture News Lesson

On Tuesday 9th January 2024, in Year One’s Picture News lesson, the children learnt all about emojis and how they help people communicate. We discussed how we use an emoji to express how we are feeling or how they can reflect our appearance.
The children had to complete a worksheet using words to describe emotions, then they designed their own emoji to keep.
We ended the lesson learning a new song called God knows me.
