Year 1 – PSHE Fair Trade Lesson

On Tuesday 30th January 2024, the Year 1 children learnt all about different climates in the UK and West Africa. They discussed the differences, similarities and agriculture. Our whole world is changing due to climate change and affecting people’s day to day living. It was explained that our local Co-Op shop sells Fairtrade produce and that by purchasing these products, they are helping the families in Africa and other countries gain a fair price for the products they are growing
